Used them on our elk hunt here in New Mexico. Had this bull down and worked on it in the dark. Before we found the light rope it was a headlamp and replacing batteries at least once to get an elk processed after dark. They worked flawlessly.

The string lights are amazing lightweight and great to use but the power bank on the other hand is awfully heavy compared to my other 20,000 Power packs granite this one has a light and the solar but the weight of it is 3-4 times heavier so not sure about the backpacking aspect and practical

Love the rope lights & the magnetic strips! 2 strips run down the length of my bus . I have 4 strips & boy do they put off a lot of light! I'm very happy with my purchase! I can't comment on the life of the battery pack yet. I haven't used them a couple of hours & the life lights still show at full charge.
